It is constructed of steel rather than lightweight aluminum. The base and arms are powder painted for durability,while the vertical column has a heavy-duty construction, machined on all four sides with a Teflon surface, allowing for trouble-free operation. For dairy and food processing environments, we offer USDA/FDA approved Electroless Nickel finish.
